Lime Sludge Hauling and Disposal/Lagoon Cleaning Project Description: The work for which bids are invited consists of furnishing all materials and labor for the removal of approximately 3,000 dry tons of lime sludge from the Water Resource Recovery Facility of the City of Wooster, Ohio and the disposal of said sludge by the use of approved methods in order to empty the lagoon for cleaning. The City intends to award a thirty-six month contract beginning January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2026. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured Or provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, and/or alternate unit prices. Contact the Division of Engineering at 330-263-5251 for all questions and requests for additional information.
