The project entails provision of a replacement fire alarm panel and replacement of non- compatible devices in the existing Sandy Lake Personal Care Home and Virden Sherwood Personal Care Home. Project title: Sandy Lake Personal Care Home & Virden Sherwood Personal Care Home Fire Alarm Repairs. The intent of this Tender is to obtain bids from qualified Bidders for construction of all work indicated on the drawings and in the project manual ("Contract"). The construction contract for the Tender will be the Standard Construction Document CCDC-2, 2008 edition, Stipulated Price Contract and General Conditions, as modified by the Owner's Supplementary Conditions. Each bid shall be accompanied with security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total Base Bid Price. The successful Bidder shall promptly provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price covering the performance of the Contract including the requirements of GC 12.3-Warranty. The successful Bidder shall promptly provide a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price.
