Project work will occur at the Block 34 construction sites. Part 2 work is bounded by 8th and 9th Avenues and Duncan and Husband Streets. Part 1 work is generally defined as the perimeter around Part 2 and potentially the stormwater drainage alignment extending from northwest corner of Block 34 to the south on Duncan St. to 12th Ave. 2. The COS is requesting qualifications from firms interested in providing construction management oversight, quality assurance, inspection, and testing service coordination for construction of the Block 34 Project. The Construction Manager shall provide construction management, quality assurance, inspection and coordination of testing services by others for the Project. The COS and a group of private donors have partnered to build a new park with covered pavilion and stage, water and playground features, and associated public improvements. COS retains the right to reject any or all SOQs and to re-solicit if deemed tobe in the best interest of COS. Contract time for the finished Block 34 Project is 16 months from NTP for substantial completion, and 17 months from NTP for final completion.
