Renovation of a municipal facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The general components of the Work include: Beecher place is approximately fifty years old, and the services offered are showing their age. The scope of work is focused on the makeover of the main level public washroom and adjoined changerooms. There are no structural changes included with these upgrades focusing on updating plumbing, electrical and cosmetic appearance. List of updates required but not limited to: 1. Replace toilets, urinals, and flush valves; 2. Replace plumbing supply and sanitation lines to meet code requirements; 3. Install three location integrated stainless sinks and counter; 4. Install maintenance hose bib (secure); 5. Replace partitions with stainless steel; 6. Upgrade accessible toilet stalls to meet current BCBC code; 7. Install new paper dispensers and sani-napkin holders; 8. Install change tables; 9. Install "wet" floor traps; 10. Install drinking fountain/bottle filler (exterior); 11. Upgrade air exchange ventilation; 12. Upgrade lighting to improve lumen output; 13. Upgrade hand dryers; 14. Upgrade exterior door hardware and accessibility controller; 15. Strip, repair and apply epoxy flooring; 16. Remove stipple ceiling finish and repair all defects; and 17. Paint walls/ceiling/doors/ventilation.
