This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Surrey, British Columbia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
The work shall consist of transplanting, planting, transporting, and/or storing large deciduous (10+ cm DBH (Diameter at Breast Height) and coniferous (3+ meters tall) trees year-round in various street and park locations throughout the City of Surrey. Approximately 10 trees per year. The general hours of operations will be 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Days of operation will be Monday through Friday. No work will be performed on weekends or statutory holidays, except as otherwise agreed to in writing by the City. The Parks Division reserves the right to inspect the Contractor's facility and to perform such investigation as may be deemed necessary to ensure that competent personnel and management and suitable storage facilities and equipment/materials that are used in the performance of the Goods and Services.
