The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions for the ROPEC Electrical Reliability Project at the Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre (ROPEC) located at 800 Green Creek Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1J 1K6, as described in the Terms of Reference, attached hereto, as Annex A. 1. This two-stage procurement process is to select and then contract with the successful contractor for the construction of the ROPEC Electrical Reliability Project. 2. (This Stage) Stage 1: Request for Pre-Qualification. This RFQ includes rated technical requirements. There is no financial evaluation at this stage. The RFQ responses achieving a minimum overall score of 70% on the technical evaluation and meeting the conditions precedent to Selection of the Short Listed Respondent(s) outlined in Article 3.7 will proceed to Stage 2. 3.Stage 2 TBD (expected February 2024): A Request for Tender will be issued to the pre-qualified respondents, seeking a firm price for the construction of the ROPEC Electrical Reliability Project. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
