Site work for a fire / police facility in Georgetown, Colorado. Working plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

Clear Creek County is seeking bids from qualified professional vendors for the demolition of existing rec yard, collaborative redesign process for a new outdoor recreation yard for inmates, and development of cost estimates for design and construction. The qualified vendor must show possession of skills necessary to maintain and improve effectiveness, enhance its quality of services, minimize down time and support costs, and ensure security and safety controls at all times. Scope of Services Inmate Outdoor Recreation Yard Redesign and Construction Experience and knowledge of confinement center security and construction requirements for outdoor recreation yards. A collaborative design process with Sheriff's Office leadership to design an outdoor space for inmates which fulfills the needs of the Sheriff's Office staff as well as the security restrictions for inmates. Structural engineering, as needed, to ensure an effective and safe facility for staff and inmates. Project management: Provide complete project management support inclusive of OAC meetings, coordination, project administration, scheduling, budgeting, design review and closeout. Comply with all insurance requirements in accordance with Clear Creek County standards. Include an Owner's reserve and contingency amount to be controlled by Clear Creek County; each shall be 10% of the total GMP. Secure all permitting for the completion of the project. Provide final as-built survey, specs, and if necessary, CAD files for Clear Creek County's records. Needed demolition and waste disposal of existing structure. All structural and non-structural framing materials. Final Design with 100% construction drawings. Cost estimates. Construction and construction administration. The Request-for-Bid Schedule is as follows. The County of Clear Creek reserves the right to revise the Schedule or other portions of this as necessary. Question & Answer Period Begins January 31, 2024 Question & Answer Period Ends February 26, 2024 Anticipated Award Date Pending approval by BOCC. Expected Period of Contract: A contract beginning in January of 2024, design/construction documents by May 2024, construction completion by November 2024. The County reserves the right to reject any and all Responses and to waive any informality, technical defects or clerical errors in any Reponses as the best interest of the County may require. Selection procedures will be conducted in conformance with all applicable qualifications-based selection requirements.
