Saving Project...

Renovation of a detention facility in Greenville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

The Meriwether County Board of Commissioners shall accept proposals for the replacement of Detention Doors, Mortise Locks, Cylinders, Hinges, Door Closures, and Doors at the Meriwether County Jail. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check or acceptable bid bond (Meriwether County form provided) in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid per section and made payable to Board of Commissioners of Meriwether County. Failure to use Meriwether County form may result in bid being deemed non-responsive. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check or cashier's check will be cause for rejection. Prior to execution of a contract, a Contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract amount per section, must be provided by the successful Proposer by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Georgia and satisfactory to Meriwether County. Questions will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 4th, 2023 All questions concerning the Request for Proposal shall be addressed in writing to Bill Cawthorne, Special Projects at b.cawthorne@meriwethercountyga.gov Meriwether County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities and to re-advertise. Meriwether County reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals from any person, firm, or corporation who is in arrears in any department or obligation to Meriwether County, Georgia.
