Bids will be received for a Bleacher Contract for the construction of aluminum bleachers as shown and noted in the contract documents. All Bleacher manufacturers are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the State Laws of North Carolina governing their trades. A brief summary of the project scope: This project will consist of constructing and providing aluminum bleachers as shown in the Contract Documents. Bleacher Manufacturer shall provide a complete set or sets of aluminum bleachers with ramps and steps that will be ADA accessibility compliant, provide field measured shop drawings with design load points for concrete foundations for architects review. The bleachers, ramps, steps and all materials shall be provided by the Bleacher Manufacturer for a complete ready to use product. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder should it be deemed in the best interest of the project or the Owner. Bid Security, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, is required for each bid submitted. Bid Security may be cash, certified checks or Bid Bonds and will be returned to all except the three (3) lowest bidders within five (5) business days after the opening of bids. After notification of award, the successful Contractor shall secure and post a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Sum.
