Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Replace two existing boilers with new high efficiency condensing boilers. 2. Replace three existing water heaters with new high efficiency condensing water heaters. 3. Replace existing primary heating water pumps. 4. Replace existing secondary heating water pumps. 5. Replace existing heating water expansion tank and air separator. 6. Replace gas piping runouts to equipment and associated gas regulators. 7. Provide new mechanical controls for new equip. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $580,625.00. This Project is estimated to cost $250,000.00. Bid Bond: This Project is estimated to cost $250,000.00 or more and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Prevailing Wage: It is the responsibility of the bidder to go online to the L&I web page online to verify they have the most current prevailing wages at time of bid.
