PURPOSE AND SCOPE : The intent of this solicitation is to establish an indefinite quantity, multiterm, contract for Gallup-McKinley County Schools (GMCS or "District") for turnkey pavement sealing and paving, including base, asphalt, and minor elevation work. TERM : Initial term shall be from the date of award to June 30, 2025. The Gallup-McKinley School Board of Education shall have the option to renew this agreement for an additional three (3) each one (1) year periods. Except when either party shall provide written notice of termination or that the contract shall expire on the anniversary date, multi-term contracts shall automatically renew for an additional term, up to the maximum number of terms stated in any Special Terms and Conditions. MULTIPLE SOURCE CONTRACT AMOUNT: The total amount of a contract and all renewals may not exceed Twelve Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($12,500,000.00) over three years and the contract provides that any one purchase may not exceed Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00), as provided by 13-1-154.1. A one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment and Material Bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of New Mexico will be required of the successful bidder(s) prior to EACH project "Notice to Proceed" valued over twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Said bonds must be provided to the agency requesting the project and are to be filed with the agency's purchasing office. Failure to comply shall result in an order being issued to another vendor, and the difference shall be charged back to the awarded Contractor.
