The Green Mountain Conservation Group is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide recommendations and installation instructions to curb water runoff along approximately 400 - feet of Ossipee Lake Road bordering Lower Danforth Pond Each engineering firm will submit a qualifications package to the Green Mountain Conservation Group that will include the following components as described below: Cover letter indicating a primary contact for the qualification package and title, address, phone number, and email address. The cover letter should include relevant professional certification (i.e., Professional Engineer, Certified Wetland Scientist, etc.) Description of the firm and qualifications, and a summary of directly relevant work experience of the respondent. Name of firm member performing work and qualifications. Each firm will submit the qualification package to friendsofdanforth@gmail.com Representatives from Green Mountain Conservation Group will review the qualifications packages. After qualification ranking is completed, the top ranked engineering firm will be selected, and GMCG and the engineering group will proceed with drafting a contract. Complete and timely submission of all required documents is mandatory for the qualifications package to be considered
The respondent will provide a schedule to complete the work. It is expected that this project will be completed by March 15, 2024. Each firm will submit the qualification package to friendsofdanforth@gmail.com The GMCG will not respond to telephone inquiries about the RFQ. Questions concerning the RFQ must be submitted via email to friendsofdanforth@gmail.com Questions must be submitted by 5:00pm on November 21, 2023, and must have in the subject line Ossipee Lake Road BMP RFQ Question. If you have a question, please follow this procedure to ensure consistency of answers. A digest version of all questions and answers will be emailed to everyone that submits a question.
