Site work and paving for a civil project in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work to be done under this contract includes: Construction of underground utilities, permeable brick, concrete and asphalt roadway surfacing, fiber optic cable, and traffic signal infrastructure generally along Tennessee, W. 8th, W. 9th, Ohio, and Louisiana Streets. Work includes approximately 4,200 LF of storm sewer piping and structures, 1,900 LF of sanitary sewer and structures, 3,600 LF of waterline and appurtenances, 5,700 SY of permeable brick paving, 7,000 SY of roadway and sidewalk surfacing, 10,000 SY of asphalt milling and overlay, 3 traffic circle installations, 6,500 LF of fiber optic line and traffic signal replacements. All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the City's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org. The bid number shall be referenced in the email subject line. The questions deadline is Monday, December 23, 2024 - 1:00pm Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the City and will become addenda to this Bid.
