Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done under this contract includes: Construction of approximately 6,800 LF of sidewalk and compliant sidewalk ramps along identified Safe Routes on Ousdahl Road from 19th Street to 26th Street and on W. 25th Street from Iowa Street to Ridge Court and from Cedarwood Avenue to Ousdahl Road as well as installation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) at 22nd Street. The project includes, but not limited to, clearing & grubbing, demolition, construction of sidewalks, concrete driveway replacement, street pavement replacement, concrete curb &gutter, access ramps, integral sidewalk retaining wall, signage, pavement markings, RRFB, traffic control, water service line adjustments, earthwork, seeding & all other work necessary to complete the project. All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the Citys Purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org. The bid number shall be referenced in the email subject line. The questions deadline is December 13th, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Local Time. All questions will receive an official written response from the City and will become addenda to this Bid.
