PROFESSIONAL SERVICES for Winston-Salem Urban Area MPO Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) Update This RFLOI is to solicit responses (Letters Of Interest, or LOIs) from qualified firms to provide updates to the Winston-Salem Urban Area MPO (WSUAMPO) Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) that include the following: Addressing the need for regional mobility and accessibility while providing the best multimodal transportation strategies. Coordinating with current and on-going transportation initiatives and land use planning efforts; Establishing a regional vision or improves on the current vision from locally adopted plans; Realizing and supporting performance measures adopted by WSUAMPO and NCDOT; Coordinating with identified stakeholders and responds to all input. All technical questions concerning this LOI must be submitted in writing only by 12:00 Noon, December 6, 2023 to Darren Redfield, Purchasing Director at darrenmr@cityofws.org. This LOI will in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the LOI process or in the applications; to re-advertise this LOI; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of services; and to change or modify the LOI schedule at any time. Requests made after December 11 will be denied. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
