Site work and paving for a civil project in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work will consist of the installation of one 6" and one 12" cut-in valve and line-stop combinations. The installation of the 6" valve will occur in Pequea Avenue (SR 0010) in front of the Honey Brook Post Office and the 12" valve will be installed on the water main approaching the storage tank adjacent to Honey Brook Borough Park. The installation will require water service shut down in some areas during the time of construction. Street cutting and pavement restoration will be required for the proposed work. Bids may be publicly awarded on January 2, 2024 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Honey Brook Borough Authority, 91 Pequea Avenue, Honey Brook PA 19344. All Requests for Information shall be submitted online via electronically by 2:00 pm on December 18, 2023 to allow time to post an addendum on electronically . No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Honey Brook Borough Authority. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Authority.
