Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Anticipated Committee of the Whole Recommendation January 15, 2024 Anticipated Board Approval February 5, 2024 Anticipated Notice of Intent February 7, 2024 Start Construction/Commence Work: Start by March 4, 2024 Substantial Completion: August 29, 2024 Final Completion: September 12, 2024 All questions shall be directed to Maggie Krieger, FGM Architects, Inc.; maggiekrieger@fgmarchitects.com Within ten (10) days after notification of award of contract, the successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond shall be in the amount of 100 percent of the contract. The performance bond will become a part of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in any bid, or to make awards in the best interests of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to award a partial amount of the Work rather than the entire amount. All contractors submitting bids must be in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act as enacted by he State of Illinois. As part of their bid, all contractors are required to sign, notarize and return the contractor certificates included with this bid packet.
