The County of Sonoma is soliciting this request for proposal to establish pre-positioned contracts with pre-qualified contractors for the purchase, design, and installation of modular office furniture, wall systems, and related services as defined in the attached exhibit B Scope of work, for all County departments and affiliated agencies. Responses will only be accepted from manufacturer authorized dealers, and resellers with duly licensed or certified installers. The County of Sonoma (hereafter County) purchases modular office systems and furniture for County owned office spaces as well as leased facilities. The County has primarily purchased Herman Miller Office systems historically. The County spent approximately $1.2 million per year on average over the last three (3) years cumulatively for the purchase, design, and installation of modular office furniture, wall systems, and related services for all County departments and affiliated agencies. A conference to discuss questions related to this RFP shall be held per the schedule. 12/15/2023 :Proposers Questions Due by 5:00 p.m. 12/19/2023: Countys Responses to Questions Due 1/17/2024: Proposals Evaluated by County 1/23/2024:Interviews Conducted (if applicable) 1/29/2024 :Notice of Intent to Recommend for Award (subject to delay without notice to proposers) 12/12/2023 :Board of Supervisors Awards Contract (subject to delay without notice to proposers) Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County Electronic Portal and email notification. Questions should be sent via e-mail directly to don.moore@sonoma-county.org. Questions will not be accepted by phone.
