Site work for a civil project in Andover, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
As of December 26, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed bids for the following project:Elm and Peach Street Sewer Lining Project, SEL 2235 This combines the projects Elm Street Culvert Rehabilitation (SEL2136) and Peach Street Sewer Lining (SEL2120) into one big project. ALL QUESTIONS concerning obtaining the bid packages and supplemental information should be directed to Smolen Engineering, Ltd., 1876 State Route 46 North, Jefferson, Ohio 44047, phone: (440) 576-0505. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting a bid and shall be accompanied by either: (1) A bond in accordance with division (B) of ORC 153.54 for the full amount of the bid; or (2) A certified check or cashiers check. The amount of the certified check or cashiers check shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, as a security that he will enter into a contract should his bid be accepted. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Ashtabula County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. Bids will be considered by the Administration of Andover Village on the basis of price, quality and utility and in accordance with Section 3313.46 of the Revised Code. The Council reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject any and all or parts of any and all bids.
