The New Boston Space Force Station (NBSFS) drinking water system (DWS) includes two bedrock wells, storage tanks, various distribution and fire pumps, fire hydrants, chlorine and radon equipment, and distribution piping. 1.2. This project repairs through replacement various components of the NBSFS DWS, including designated sections of the DWS distribution piping. The project is delineated into severable CLINs, which are to be bid separately. Provide cost details for each bid item identifying costs on a Work Breakdown Structure identifying separate costs for materials, labor, and equipment. 1.3. The basic project (CLIN 0001) was designed in 2019, with scope updates as identified in this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor will submit their proposed design solution and construction approach with narrative clearly conveying understanding of the requirements utilizing the referenced c.2019 design and this SOW, and obtain government acceptance for the complete design. 1.4. Contractor will field verify information given and conditions in place, including ground penetrating radar as necessary, to properly design and install the DWS components. 1.5. The construction plan should include procedures to install and maintain temporary water between mission areas during construction. 1.6. Contractor will coordinate and execute all necessary regulatory reviews, and permit acquisition, including paying the appropriate fees. Perform all work in accordance with Federal, State, and local statutes, regulations, and codes, e.g.: The design for this project will require coordination with and approval by NH DES per NH CAR Env-Dw 406 prior to any work start. 1.7. Contractor will be responsible for construction management, scheduling, inspection and testing services, maintenance of construction temporary utilities, temporary controls, environmental protection, and project closeout. Contractor will ensure technical accuracy and adequacy of the project design at every submission, providing quality control in all phases of the project..
