Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Woodbridge, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The district maintains four fire station locations. The purpose of this project is to provide construct a training tower with ARPA funds, provided by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. The training tower will be constructed at our district headquarters, located at 400 E. Augusta Street, Woodbridge, CA 95258 ("jobsite"). The services to be provided will be overseen by the district's fire chiefs. A. All materials for the construction, except the steel building and all of its components are to be provided by General Contractor unless otherwise noted in this ITB. The building itself and all of its components will be supplied by the fire district. B. Pour a foundation based on plans from Mike Smith Engineering Plans and Soils Engineer. The current soil report calls for 4 feet of over excavation. This will be revised so bid should not include over excavation. C. The contractor shall be responsible for unloading all material for the training tower that will be delivered to the jobsite by (Undetermined). D. Construct the Fire Facilites Tower (Assistant Fire Chief model supplied by the district) according to plans. E. Build training tower according to Fire Facilites plans and warranty. F. Construccion to start around the third week of January 2024 (Aer Permits are issued). G. Total constructor should not be more than four (3) months. I. Add 60 AMP panel to exterior of building and add interior and exterior laughing (this specification is not in the plans. J. Dispose of all debris from jobsite. K. District is responsible for obtaining permits from the San Joaquin County Building Department. The district will also ensure final sign off by the County of San Joaquin County Building department at project completion. All fees associated with the permitting process will be paid by the district directly with the County of San Joaquin. This is a Public Works Project. The California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") requires the Woodbridge Fire Protection District ("District") to provide this notice to all contractors and subcontractors who bid or work on Public Works projects.
