Reference Number 0000335497 The Town of Dover seeks to conduct subsurface soil testing investigation for a bridge replacement project at North Nellie Hill Rd. in Dover Plains, NY The following tasks comprise the scope of work: -Two borings, one on each side of the proposed culvert in the locations of the proposed footing and centerline of the road (locations of borings to be marked out by the Town) -Consult with Town Engineer to determine if any permits or bonds are needed for this work and if so, complete, file and obtain applications (and submit permit cost to Town for reimbursement) -Depth of the borings should be 35 feet or to rock -Provide geotechnical report of soil type, recovery, glow counts and presence of water or rock in file logs -Copy of field logs must be provided in the final report -Schedule the procedure so that the Town Engineer's or designee is present at the time of the borings.
