The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver (VHA), on behalf of Columbia Non-Profit Housing (CNPH), is issuing this Request for Qualifications pursuant to RCW 39.26. The VHA intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award a Contract to purchase architectural and engineering design services for ramp renovation at our Crown Villa property. CONTRACT TERM The release of this competitive solicitation in no way obliges the VHA to award a contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price, lump-sum contract. Payment terms will be Net 30 from the receipt of goods/services or date of valid invoice, whichever is later, in accordance with state policy. SCOPE OF WORK The VHA invites qualified vendors to propose and submit a solution to architectural and engineering design services for ramp renovation at our Crown Villa property. This property is located in Camas, WA (1529 Division Street, Camas, WA) and consists of a two-story, 19-unit development within CNPH's HUD 202 Portfolio. The Section 202 program provides supportive housing for the elderly. The goal of this project is to improve building access and accessibility at the property. This scope includes but is not limited to a physical review and determination of extent of accessibility upgrades necessary to existing ramp, railings, handrails, and stairs. We are seeking cost effective / feasible design solutions for this affordable housing development. Our anticipated deliverable will be formal pricing and a turnkey / build ready set of drawings. Permits to be pulled later (time of actual work occurring). VHA will not coordinate a formal site visit for the property. The property is currently occupied and out of respect for the occupants, the VHA kindly requests that you do not disturb the residents when accessing the property.
