construction of the Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs to the Lafourche Parish Government, Louisianas Cajun Bayou Visitor Center consisting of the following: The new facility consists of an approximate 4,874 SF one story building, slab on grade, with exterior walls consisting of fiber cement wall panels on wood studs, wood roof truss, and standing seam metal panels on the roof. The structure is approximately 144L x 50W x 32H with a covered porch entrance on the North side and East side of the building, and a stairway on the Northeast side of the building Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Lafourche Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
