PBA is seeking a contractor(s) for the provision of low-voltage structure cabling. PBA is seeking a contractor to facilitate the installation of Panduit Structured Cabling or other Panduit-certified low voltage cabling systems for PBA. All PBA properties reside within Knox County. Prospective contractors may submit questions concerning this solicitation until 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on January 8, 2024. Questions may be emailed to bdaniels@ktnpba.org. COMPLETION OF WORK: The contractor will remove all waste/excess materials, rubbish debris, tools, and/or equipment daily at no cost to PBA. At the completion of the work, the contractor will restore the site to its former condition, at no cost to PBA. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Contractor(s) may be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each equal to 100% of the job cost) when any one project exceeds
$100,000 in value. The Bonds will be returned upon the successful and satisfactory completion of the project. MINORITY-OWNED, WOMEN-OWNED & DIVERSE BUSINESSES: PBA encourages the meaningful participation of minority-owned businesses. It is the intent of PBA to maintain a minimum procurement goal of
10% participation from minority-owned, women-owned, small businesses, and/or diverse businesses. PBA shall have all rights and remedies afforded under the Uniform Commercial Code (U.C.C.) and Tennessee law in Contract and in tort, including but not limited to rejection of goods, rescission, right of set-off,
refund, incidental, consequential, and compensatory damages, and reasonable attorney's fees. PBA reserves the right to waive minor informalities in proposals, provided that such action is in the best interest of PBA. Any such waiver will not modify any remaining requirements of the RFP or excuse the
supplier from full compliance with the RFP's specifications and other contract requirements if the supplier is awarded the contract.
