Manzanita Building Preschool Classrooms and Remodel Manzanita Building 1212 NE 5th St, Redmond, OR 97756 Bids received after the required time and date time will not be considered. The scope of work for this bid includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. The addition of two preschool classrooms within their existing facility by remodeling a portion of the existing office and administrative area. 2. The remodel will also include relocating the main conference room and replacing the displaced offices. 3. Additionally, the scope of work will include security upgrades by creating a secure vestibule, lobby, and reception area at the main entry. Provisions for Controlled Access, Surveillance and Window privacy and security upgrades. This project is a PREVAILING WAGE project therefore no bid will be received or considered unless the Bid contains a statement by the bidder, as part of the bid, that "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the applicable provisions of 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148. A. General 1. The Work shall be providing all supplies, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transportation, utilities, service, superintendence, labor, and the furnishing of all materials, items, and accessories needed for the HDESD - Manzanita Building Improvements. 2. The intent of the Contract Documents is that a single Contractor completes the project including the furnishing of all supervision, material, labor and equipment to provide complete and operative systems. 3. All on-site work, including demolition, installation and final cleaning is required to be completed during the regularly scheduled hours. Contractor is to coordinate work to accommodate the continuous operation of the adjacent streets and utilities, without interruption or hindrance. B. Description 1. HDESD: The Project Consists of construction of two preschool classrooms within the existing Manzanita Facility by remodeling a portion of the existing office and administration area. The remodel will also include relocated the main conference room and replacing displaced offices. Additionally, the scope of work will include security upgrades by creating a secure vestibule lobby, and reception area at the main entry. The Contractor shall provide for all scheduling, coordination, cutting and patching and all other items required by the contract Documents to complete the Work and provide complete operational systems. security upgrades by creating a secure vestibule, lobby, and reception area at the main entry. o site upgrades to address existing accessible barriers.
