EL Camino Real Bridge Over Santa Margarita Creek Santa Margarita, CA This project will replace the existing bridge on El Camino Real about 2-1/2 miles north of Santa Margarita. The existing 80-ft, 5-span bridge will be replaced with a 100-ft single-span box-girder type structure. The new bridge will be 56 feet wide to accommodate bike lanes and center turn lanes for street intersections at both ends of the bridge. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $7,395,031.80 Bids are required for the entire work described in the Contract Documents. Executive Order N-6-22 - Russia Sanctions On March 4, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-6-22 (the EO) regarding Economic Sanctions against Russia and Russian entities and individuals. "Economic Sanctions" refers to sanctions imposed by the U.S. government in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine, as well as any sanctions imposed under state law. Termination shall be at the sole discretion of the County. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this Contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive discrepancies, irregularities, informalities, or any other error in the bid or bidding, if to do so seems to best serve the public interest. The right of the County to waive errors applies even if the Contract Documents state that a discrepancy, irregularity, informality, or other error make a bid nonresponsive, so long as the error does not constitute a material error.
