Saving Project...

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Aberdeen, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The City of Aberdeen is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide project management and engineering services for the Watershed Forestry Road Improvements Project. The scope of services is anticipated to include project management, survey, pre-design report, geotechnical analysis and design, bridge structure design, stormwater design, environmental documentation (including NEPA/SEPA documentation and FPA permitting), and construction management. There are 2 existing bridge structures that need to be replaced to maintain access to forest land. There also are 6 culverts that need to be updated to meet current fish passage requirements. The new bridges and culverts need to be designed to meet current forest practices standards. The budget for the PE Phase of the project is $40,000. SOQs shall be received by the City no later than the submittal deadline listed above. It is the responsibility of firms to ensure that SOQs are received by the City on-time. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
