Reprofiling slope by excavation and/or controlled blasting on the slope face South of the existing asphalt, Construction of a 6.1 m wide, two-lane road, Excavation and grading, Placing sub-base and base compacting and paving new roadway, Construction of gravel shoulder on each side of the new roadway, Construction of 3 m wide catchment ditch on South side of road and Construction of a 44 m long retaining wall structure on the South side of the road, Temporary Barge landing facility and tree clearing. Project Location: The Site is located on Canal Road along the North side of South Pender Island approximately 2.5km east of Canal Road Bridge Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
