Renovation of an educational facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope indicating "Sealed Bid Enclosed" and the Bidder's name and address. . A "Bidder" is defined as any entity submitting a Bona Fide bid for the Work as defined in the Project Manual and as described above. Subcontractors and material suppliers may purchase plans. Bids will be executed on proposal forms furnished by the Architect/Engineer, which are in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Accounts Form #96, as required by the Statutes of the State of Indiana. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of one hundred and ten percent (110%) of their contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. This work shall be completed using Federal grant funding. All labor costs shall be subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates for the County where the Work is to be completed. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days before awarding contracts. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work shall be completed under one (1) Prime Contract with the Owner including: B. An itemized schedule of the Work is included at the conclusion of this section. ACCESS TO SITE A. General: The following information applies to all contracts and Work locations. B. Use of Site: Limit use of the Work site to areas immediately adjacent to the work. Do not disturb portions of Work site beyond areas as required for execution of the Work. 1. Driveways, Walkways and Entrances: Keep driveways, sidewalks, and entrances serving premises clear and available to the Owner, the Owner's employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use these areas for parking or storage of materials. a. Schedule deliveries to minimize use of driveways and entrances by construction operations. b. NO deliveries may occur within 30 minutes of school arrival or dismissal. c. Schedule deliveries to minimize space and time requirements for storage of materials and equipment on-site.
