Renovation of a fire / police facility in 150 Mile House, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Cariboo Regional District to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Renovations for 150 Mile House Fire Hall. The 150 Mile House Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall is a building that was constructed in multiple phases. The initial construction was completed in 1981 to 1982 using volunteer labour. It consisted of 3 bays and one meeting room with one small bathroom. The community portion of the building hall was built on the second floor at the same time. It had a small kitchen and 2 bathrooms. In the early 1990's an addition was built that added on 2 bays and a meeting room. The second floor added more bathrooms and a large hall space. The total building is approximately 8,104 square feet. TIMELINE: Project has been canceled by the owner. Project will be updated if/when it is approved to tender. Coverage is discontinued.
