This contract is for the procurement of signal equipment for the Quinault & Columbia Center Blvd. Intersection. Specifically, signal equipment shall include a controller, traffic control cabinet and associated hardware, video detection equipment, traffic signal standard poles & mast arms, pedestrian and signal vehicle heads, illuminated street names signs, pedestrian push buttons, metered load centers, street light standard poles and mast arms, photocells and street light luminaires. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
