The Project includes the following Work: 1 LS Mobilization/Demobilization; 1 LS Video Taping of Project Area; 1 LS Erosion and Sediment Control; 1 LS Site Grading and Preparation; 1 EA New 234,000-Gallon Water Storage Standpipe, Complete w/ Foundation; 1 LS Valve Vault, Complete; 1 LS Site Piping/Tie-Ins; 1 LS Demolition/Removal of 300,000 Gallon Tank, Complete; 225 LF 6'-0" Chain Link Fencing; 1 LS Access Road Improvements; 1 LS Restoration; 1 LS Radio Telemetry System, Complete, Including Solar Power Unit at New Tank Site, Unit at Booster Pump Station, and Unit at City Garage; 1 EA 3" Turbo Flow Meter Installation, Complete; 1 LS Reconditioning of Existing 632,000-Gallon Tank. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 234,000 Gallon Burt Hill Standpipe The Work will be substantially completed within 260 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 290 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Scope of Work: This Section includes the clearing, grubbing, and restoration of the Site including, but to limited to, the following: 1. Clearing, grubbing, and restoration. 2. Protection of designated trees and vegetation. 3. Private fence considerations. 4. Off-site disposal of all material generated by the clearing and grubbing operations. 5. Stripping, stockpiling, and reapplying of top soil.
