Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Mannington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The City of Mannington is accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of asbestos of six structures in Mannington, WV. Specifications: All materials must be disposed of at an approved solid waste facility and the site must be seeded and graded when removal is completed. Additional information is available at city hall. Any State or City permits will be the responsibility of the contractor. Bidders must include a copy of their state and city business licenses and proof of insurance with their bid. A 5% bid bond must also be included with your bid along with a performance bond. All questions to be submitted by 4:00 pm on June 23, 2025, to Mayor Lora Michael. Please mark Demolition Sealed Bid on the outside of the envelope. City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
