As of June 14, 2024, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in early 2025 and last through 2026. Reference Number 0000338074 The Town of Wellington (Town) is requesting proposals from consultants for services related to a comprehensive redesign for the Town's Cleveland Ave. (Cleveland), Colorado State Highway 1 (SH1). The Town's primary business core extends from the eastside of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) crossing with SH1 easterly to the west right-of-way (ROW) for Interstate 25 (I-25). Included in the design will be improvements to parking, drainage, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp, pedestrian safety, irrigation, power pole relocations and related surface amenities.
