Road 9, Wellington, CO, 80549. This project comprises construction of the initial infrastructure for the landfill. The primary infrastructure components to be developed to support landfill operations consist of a new scale facility (scale house and three (3) scales), a new maintenance building, utilities, roadways, stormwater controls, as well as exterior improvements, including fencing and landscaping. The successful bidder will be required to coordinate all field inspections. The new scale house building (614 square feet) will be double-wythe masonry and have a standing seam metal roof. The interior of the scale house will include an attendant room, unisex restroom, and information technology (IT) room. The scale house will have two (2) secure exterior doors: one (1) that opens to the east and one (1) that opens to the west. Two (2) drive-thru operable windows will be provided for the attendants to process incoming and outgoing customers. The new scale house building will be oriented alongside two (2) inbound scales (790 square feet each) and a single outbound scale (also 790 square feet). There will be a 20- foot-wide lane adjacent to each of the outermost scales for bypassing the scales into or out of the site. The new maintenance building (7,122 square feet building footprint) will be a pre-engineered metal building with an extensive maintenance bay and office space. Three (3) large overhead sectional doors will provide an opening for trucks to enter the three (3) bays inside the building.
