Sealed proposals for furnishing all materials, labor and equipment for the following described work An award of contract is anticipated to be made within 45 days of bid opening. Proposals received after deadline will not be considered. The project includes all labor, materials and equipment to remove approximately 60 trees of various sizes and species along the southeast right of way of the south 900-feet of Lake Sylvia Road. The trees are located in residential areas and minimal impact to roadway and residential property is essential. The completion date of the tree removal services is January 31, 2024. Technical inquiries regarding the project should be directed to Mike Olden, P.E., at the City of Montesano, via email only at molden@montesano.us. A pre-bid conference will not be held. It is the responsibility of the bidders to print and/or distribute bid documents to potential vendors and sub-contractors. Addenda will be distributed ONLY to plan holders that obtain bid documents from the City. The City of Montesano accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and/or who do not acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the bid forms. All Proposals must be submitted on the Bid Proposal form furnished with the Contract Documents. The City of Montesano reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, waive informalities, or reject any or all bids. The City of Montesano, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
