Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Seatac, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The PORT seeks a qualified consultant to provide design services for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) Parking Garage Rehabilitation project, which is currently in planning phase. The project will provide architectural, fire suppression, mechanical/HVAC, medium voltage power, storm drainage, structural/seismic, and other improvements necessary to extend the asset life of the facility. The SEA Parking Garage (PG) was constructed in three phases; the oldest central portion was constructed in 1969, the two outboard expansion phases were constructed in the 1990s. The project will provide mechanical/HVAC, architectural, storm drainage, fire suppression, and structural/seismic improvements necessary to extend the asset life of the facility. The Total Estimated Project Fee applies to all tasks identified in Exhibit 1, Scope of Work. In November 2023, PORT Commission authorized the completion of the facility assessment report and preliminary design for the project. The initial award amount of $1,200,000 is assigned to initiate this Agreement through Preliminary Design (30%), which is through Task 2 of the Scope of Work. Advancement beyond the Preliminary Design phase is dependent on Commission action approval. With Commission approval, the contract value will be amended up to $5,000,000 (total estimated project fee) through the anticipated full Agreement duration of up to 5 years (1 year + 4 option years). The awardee of this Contract is expected to perform the entire Scope of Work listed in Exhibit 1. Communication with the PORT regarding this procurement shall be directed to the assigned Contract Administrator listed below. Communication with any other PORT officials will cause the firm involved to be disqualified from this procurement.
