The City of Barre is seeking bids for the repair of fencing and guardrail at several locations detailed below. The contractor shall be allowed to submit a price for any individual location or for all locations. The City of Barre reserves the right to award each location to separate contractors, or to award all locations to the same contractor. The City reserves the right to accept the bid(s) deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Barre. The locations are as follows: Remove and dispose of existing black chain link fence and posts as selected by the City of Barre. Install approximately 200 LF of black chain link fence with top and bottom wire, 4' in height. New fencing is to match the existing black chain link fence that is selected to remain. Posts are to be cored and set in existing concrete blocks with grout. Remove and dispose of approximately 550 LF of existing cable guardrail and replace with steel beam guardrail with 6' posts. Install approximately 50 LF of galvanized chain link fence with top and bottom wire, 4' in height. The contractor is responsible for contacting Dig Safe prior to any work. The contractor is responsible for providing traffic control as needed to safely complete the work.
