Per the owner, as of January 8, 2025, Park Architects will be leading the design for the project. The owner states that they have not started yet and no contractor has been selected. A timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. The Town of Hartford, VT Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals from qualified consultants and/or other qualified vendors to develop Conceptual design plans for the re-design and upgrade concepts to its Lyman Point Park facility. Project includes accessible, inclusive playground concepts that will replace or enhance the existing structure. In addition to replacement of the existing playground equipment, the project will include (but is not limited to) new covered picnic tables, pedestrian access with pathways connecting Lyman East and West. Landscaped areas with path access, seating benches, and a river overlook patio will provide access to Lyman Point Park for all users. The intent of the project is to provide full ADA accessibility throughout the entire project including access to all playground areas, playground structures, and access pathways throughout.
