Guide Rail installation at the parking lot at Rochester Borough Riverfront. The Borough of Rochester, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids for the project: Rochester Borough - Guide Rail Project. Requests for clarification during the bidding phase shall be forwarded by email to tsadaka@widmerengineering.com. Responses shall be publicly displayed on the Widmer Engineering Inc. All requests for clarification must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the anticipated date of receipt of Bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and its performance properly secured. Bids will be considered by Borough Council at its meeting at 6:30 P.M. on January 15, 2024. The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates. If designated as the successful bidder, the contractor will begin work on the date specified in the notice to proceed, or as otherwise provided in the special requirements, and will complete all work within 45 calendar days The Borough of Rochester reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
