Engage a firm to enhance the commitment for sustainability and energy reduction by upgrading interior and exterior lighting with a campus-wide lighting system. Cutoff for Questions: Date: January 17, 2024, Time: 12:00 pm EST West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors (BOG) located in Morgantown, West Virginia (WVU or University) is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified, experienced, and licensed firms to upgrade interior and exterior lighting with a campus-wide lighting system. In the event the Proposal Due Date changes, it will be posted via addendum; the date will not change on this description The proposal process is highly controlled. To protect the integrity of the process, any questions or clarifications regarding this Request for Proposal must be handled through the Department of Procurement, Contracting, & Payment Services. Questions are to be posted on the Q&A Board for solicitation - in the event you cannot access the Q&A Board, emails may be sent to the Procurement Officer (and only the Procurement Officer) at: Keith Bayles, keith.bayles@mail.wvu.edu ESTIMATED TIME PERIOD FOR CONTRACT: November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2030. West Virginia University reserves the right to extend the contract at its sole discretion and the contract is subject to the availability of funds during the term. Proposers shall provide immediate written notice to the Universitys Procurement RFP Official any time contact concerning this solicitation has not been limited to the Universitys RFP Procurement O fficial, whether initiated by the Proposer(s) or by other University employees, consultants, contractors or members of its Board of Governors. Owner Evaluation Monday, January 29, 2024 Contract Award Monday, February 5, 2024 Proposers should allow sufficient time to ensure timely receipt of the Proposal by the RFP Procurement Official. Late Proposals will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified from further consideration, unless the Universitys electronic submission method is found to be at fault. If you are having technical difficulty; you may contact the RFP Procurement Official prior to the submission due date and time to potentially arrange submission through email, Dropbox or a comparable file sharing method. Proposals may not be transmitted by fax, email, overnight or expedited delivery or United States Postal Service unless otherwise authorized in writing by the RFP Procurement Official prior to submittal.
