The City of East St. Louis is accepting sealed bids for demolition projects located at: 1. 1658 Martin Luther King Blvd 2. 1414 Martin Luther King Blvd 3. 1701 Martin Luther King Blvd Question If you have questions concerning the Citys bid process, please contact: Tereyowna Martin, Purchasing Manager, via email at tmartin@cesl.us. or 618-482-6664. All construction Bids in excess of $10,000 shall require a bid deposit in an amount of five (5%) percent of the NET Bid. The successful bidder on all construction and capital improvement projects in excess of $10,000, shall furnish a Performance Bond equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the total Bid. The City reserves the right to reject all bids, to request additional information concerning any bid for purposes of clarification, to accept or negotiate any modification to any bid following the deadline for receipt of all bids, and to waive any irregularities if such would serve the best interests of the City.
