Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Morristown, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Tile Replacement at Fairview Elementary for 2 Mobile Units. Hamblen County Board of Education reserves the right to accept/reject any/all bids. Vinyl tile flooring shall be LVT tile Rubber base shall be Johnsonite base as manufactured by Johnson Rubber Company. Base shall be set-on cove type 4" high (with any 6" so specified by location). All outside and inside comers shall be preformed corner sections. Adhesive for installing resilient flooring shall be types specified by the flooring manufacturer. Verify compatibility with water based acrylic curing and sealing compounds specified. Adhesive for installing rubber base shall be in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions, including recommended trowel tooth configuration. PREPARATION OF SURFACES: TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Maintain 70 degrees F. minimum temperature in room for 48 hours prior to installation, during installation, and 48 hours after installation. Maintain a Minimum temperature of 55 degrees F thereafter. Sand concrete slabs with rotary power sander. Sweep or brush all surfaces clean of dust and foreign material with a new broom, fill all holes and depressions with underlayment, and be sure that all surface irregularities have been corrected before resilient material is installed
