Renovation of a fire / police facility in Morristown, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of Morristown is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to replace or upgrade the existing police alarm system. The project seeks to update or replace the monitoring and alarm system inside and surrounding various high-security areas. The proposer should determine the usefulness of any/all of the existing equipment and connectivity, which the proposer may incur into proposed solutions at their option should doing so not limit system capabilities. The City's preference is that the project be completed by the end of July 2024 The City of Morristown reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive formalities. The deadline to submit questions in writing is 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Questions to be submitted via email to purchasing@mymorristown.com. Answers will be published by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Acknowledge the receipt of two (2) eligible responses to the Request for Proposals for the Police Alarm System, accept the proposal from Trimble Security Integrations as the best proposal, total for equipment and installation $29,995.93. Acknowledge Trimble Security Integrations as the best proposal, and authorize the City Administrator to enter into a service agreement for $39.95 monthly for two years, and automatically renewing thereafter.
