I-5 Interstate Bridge NB Electrical Components. Location: 7420 - Preservation. SCOPE . This work involves restoring the full functionality of a previous electrical power distribution and fiber optic control systems, that was both partially demolished and partially relocated in order to replace the Trunnions of the Interstate Bridge in a previous contract. This section covers the restoration of that electrical distribution system with new overhead service drop type cables, new rigid steel conduit feeders, new dry type transformers, new fused service disconnect switches, new panelboards, a re-located outdoor lighting controller, existing lighting fixtures, and new wet location ground fault receptacles Restoration of electrical components, including overhead power distribution, fiber optic distribution, and camera systems, at the I-5 Interstate Bridge NB. PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND. The selected Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract Price, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for labor and materials. Bid is made a part of this bond by reference, and Principal is required to furnish Bid security in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: 9 Months after Notice to Proceed.
