The City of South Gate is soliciting proposals from qualified Consultants that can successfully provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Project. The project is located at 8620 California Ave, South Gate, CA 90280. The City of South Gate (City) is seeking a qualified Consultant that can successfully provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for the South Gate Police Department HVAC Replacement Project, City Project No. 667-GEN. Services to be provided include contract administration, construction observation ff inspection, utility coordination, labor compliance, and project close-out services. All services are to be provided in accordance with the Project documents. The 2022 California Building Code, 2022 California Mechanical Code, 2022 California Electrical Code, and 2022 California Plumbing Code will be utilized for construction of the Project. The Project is scheduled for construction in Winter 2023. Bidders are required to post their questions to the City Project Manager online. Any questions by email or by telephone will not be answered. Questions will be accepted until 4:00 pm on or before January 24, 2024. Any questions submitted after January 24, 2024, will not be answered. Answers to questions will be issued and posted online in the planet bid portal by January 31, 2024. Total Construction Phase Budget:$3,181,125 It is anticipated that construction of the Project will take 130 consecutive working days.
