North Chollas Community Park is located at 5598 Chollas Station Road, San Diego, in the Mid-City Eastern Community and encompasses approximately 90 acres of natural and developed recreational park use. The park is bounded by an elementary school at the north, Oak Park community on the west, and Chollas Lake at the east with a creek running through the center of the park. The scope of work for the North Chollas Community Park Improvements Project is planned for two phases. Estimated Bid Value Between $800,000 and $900,000 Online Q&A No The scope of services for Phase 1 & 2 shall include: The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City reserves the right to revise the RFP prior to the date that Proposals are due. Notifications of all revisions to the RFP shall be emailed to all potential Proposers. The City reserves the right to extend the date by which the Proposals are due. The preparation and approval of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimate (PS&E); permitting; community outreach; bid and construction support; and as-built plans. This shall include design support during all phases of the project (design, permitting, bid, award, construction, post construction) and coordination between the City and all required agencies for design approval and permit acquisition. PS&E shall include all the engineering design, technical reports, and supporting documents necessary to design and construct the improvements. The PS&E for the improvements shall include 30%, 60%, 100% and Final package submittals; this shall include all the required documents for permitting. Additionally, plans are anticipated to require review cycles for discretionary and ministerial permitting. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
