Renovation of an educational facility in Framingham, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a 933,429-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
The City of Framingham, through the Mayor of Framingham Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for IFB#8670 McCarthy School Roof Replacement and Associated Work. The project work consists of the partial renovation of the existing roof consisting of removing a portion of the existing roofing system and the installation of a new roofing system for the educational facility. The building shall be designed and constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications for the Miriam F. McCarthy School 8 Flagg Drive, Framingham, MA 01702. Every General Bid and every Filed Sub-Bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, in the form of a bid bond; or a certified check; or a treasurer's check; or by cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, made payable to the City of Framingham The Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation goal for this Contract is a combined goal of 10.4% of the Contract Price. The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage is 15.3%. The applicable women workforce utilization percentage is 6.9%.
