The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to undertake the inspection, testing and minor repair (ITM) services for Overhead Cranes, Vehicle Hoists and Dock Leveling Devices at CFB Kingston Base, including the Royal Military College. This ITM will cover approximately 111 pieces of equipment in 19 buildings. The Work must be completed no later than March 31, 2027. Inquiries relating to this solicitation are to be directed ONLY to the DCC Contact provided above. Bidders who contact anyone other than the DCC Contracting Authority to obtain clarifications during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified. When specifically called for through the Electronic Bidding System, the Tenderer shall submit bid security with the tender in the form of an electronic bid bond or wire transfer in an amount that is equal to not less than 10 percent of the tender amount. Federal and provincial sales taxes shall not be included when calculating the amount of any bid security that may be required. The maximum amount of bid security required with any tender is $2,000,000. A Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond Each in an Amount That is Equal to Not Less Than 50% of the Contract Amount. A Labour and Material Payment Bond in an Amount That is Equal to Not Less Than 50% of the Contract Amount, and a Security Deposit in an Amount That is Equal.
